December 2004 — Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives perform for the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the nation’s Capitol for President George W. Bush and hundreds of attendees. February 2006 — The 78th Annual (2006) Academy Awards on ABC featured a pre-show reel of Oscar contenders. The music used in the 90-second clip was the Garth Brooks song The Dance, but the vocalist was Brian Glenn.

March 2006 — Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. as part of the Grand Ole Opry On-the-Road series.

August 2006 — Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives are nominated for Best Album (Soul’s Chapel) at the 2006 Americana Music Awards held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.

September 2006 — Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives perform opening weekend at the new Schermerhorn Symphony Hall in Nashville, TN along with an array of stars.

November 2006 — Marty Stuart produces the last album on Porter Wagoner, Wagonmaster, released in the spring of 2007 only 6 months before Porter’s death. Brian plays upright or electric bass on each track, along with the rest of the Superlatives. July 2007 — Brian along with Marty Stuart, the Fabulous Superlatives and other musician friends perform with Porter Wagoner at Madison Square Garden in New York City opening a sold-out show featuring The White Stripes.
